Reindeer hides: £85 (small), £95 (large), Cowhides: £350
Hide Product Prices (cubes, benches etc): On application.
Dimensions: Cow-hides are large, usually 5sq mtrs.
Reindeer hides come in medium or large sizes, and usually average around 2 sq metres (for large).
As well as using 'hairy hides' for upholstery purposes on our stock and bespoke items, we also supply both 'brown & white' and 'black & white' cow-hides and beautiful, soft, reindeer hides in browns and whites - directly from Finland. Both are ideal as floor, wall, and chair coverings.
Like our own cow-hides, the reindeer hide is a by-product, the animals are not bred solely for the purpose of obtaining their pelt. Additionally, the reindeer trade is a vital source of income for the Northern Finnish communitites and the quality and finish of the hides is testament to the care and effort that goes into breeding the animals.
Cow-hides are available as leather alternative on other items on the site and as plain hides for floor, wall or chair coverings.
